Papas Restaurant Hull

On our first night in Hull we met up with our friends, at Papa’s restaurant which is located off a roundabout at Great Gutter Lane, Willerby. Disabled parking near entrance. Great wheelchair access with ramps, a fab round table that my chair fitted into with ease. Accessible toilet. Downside- quite dark and noisy I came here as a child, when it was a ship themed restaurant, paying homage to Hulls history. It has fishing nets, buoys, fishing rope, an anchor, old photos adorned the walls too. To a kid, it was a place of adventure. Nowadays, it still sticks to the fishy theme as the majority of the dishes are fish related. Delicious . Staff were beyond helpful and very accommodating, fetching us extra plates and cutlery as requested.

Your Majesty

 Your Majesty! Freddie tribute singer Rob Lee stood on stage with microphone in hand singing, he is wearing a yellow jacket and white trousers with a stripe down the side. He has short brown hair and a moustache. Behind him is the bands 'Brian May' who is playing a guitar, long curly brown hair, brown trousers, a black top with a white waistcoat. The stage is lit up and you can see smoke pouring across Freddie to create atmosphere. I love the music of Queen, and, as a way of cheering myself up after a difficult time health wise, I booked for my mum and I to see Majesty, a Queen tribute band, fronted by Rob Lee, who won a TV talent show. I’d never been to the Epstein Theatre and actually didn't know where it was. It was so easy to find! It’s literally over the road from Central Station in Liverpool. Alton Towers Resort Hotel - Dancing with the Stars. I could take or leave theme parks. But when my mum heard about the Strictly Dance weekend (a show she loves), we had to book! It’s not near a train station, so we drove. It was down narrow, country lanes and surrounded by farmland. Upon arriving, we asked where the disabled parking was and were told, 'now, that is the question!' We found it and went in. The entrance has no steps, but is a bit bumpy, so manual wheelchair users be aware. As the hotel faces north and south, it is naturally quite dark, with dim, artificial lighting, so not great for visually impaired people. The staff couldn’t be more helpful.
